"This was my second time at Modern Aesthetics and I want to keep it short and give my very honest review: Dr. Anwar is an amazing and magical doctor! I got C02 Laser, Microneedling+PRP package, with Tixel for my eyes and filler on my lips, PRP injections on my scalp and some tox. Dr. Anwar was VERY kind and patient during the whole procedure. Although I got so many treatments done in one day, I didn't feel ANY pain. His hands are from heaven!!! My face healed in the 2nd day, my lips are SO nature and beautifully done, even my households couldn't tell I got Lip Fillers done. "I was skeptical to get my lips done in fear that they would look unnatural. However, Dr. Anwar gave me the perfect natural lips. Also, Davona did my laser hair removal treatment and she made the experience comfortable and efficient. After the first laser I noticed immediate results, I will definitely be coming back."

"I’ve gone to Dr. Anwar about twice now and he is absolutely the best. I’ve done my lip fillers twice with him and my smile lines and have received excellent results each time. My first time going to Modern Aesthetics was a little nerve wrecking but Dr.Anwar is so kind, polite and very informative regarding the services and educates you on what’s going to happen and thoroughly explains after care instructions and what the process will be like so there is no surprises ! His staff is very nice and has excellent customer service as well and it’s always been a pleasant experience coming here. "I love Dr. Anwar, I think he is a man of great integrity and always has his patients best interest at heart. The first time I visited was after an awful experience at another local aesthetics office, my lips were so overfilled at the time and I was in a panic to find somewhere to get them dissolved. I met with Dr. Anwar and he assured me that even though they were over filled in some spots, they were still swollen and it was too soon to dissolve them. He said they would eventually go down once the swelling does and if at that time I still didn't like them, he would dissolve them. He even took the time to massage out the massive lumps of filler I had to make sure they would be even. I really appreciated him saying/doing this because I'm sure many offices would have no problem charging someone to dissolve filler. And Im very sure many Dr's would not even dedicate their valuable time to massage out lips that they didn't even do. Fast forward to today, I totally took advantage of their mothers day deal they having going on right now and showed up to their very elegant and clean office to get my botox done and some filler (or so I thought) . I met with Dr. Anwar and told him my concerns in regard to my wrinkles, which he corrected with botox and I also told him about the darkness under my eyes, which I thought would be corrected with filler. However, he educated me by taking photos of the various angles of my face and taking the time to zoom in and point out that my darkness is not due to hollowness under my eyes but rather discoloration and filler would not give me the results I am looking for. Which again, I very much appreciate and continues to support my idea that he always has the best interest of his patients in mind. I also asked him about preventative skin care services that he offered and he took the time to educate me on which ones would benefit me as well. He is such an amazing doctor and I fully trust/ recommend him. ALSO, upon leaving, I got THE CUTEST little cookie with a little Aesthetic syringe drawn on it, and it was delicious :) Fix my wrinkles AND give me a cookie? Yes please! I WILL be forever returning :)"
"If anyone is looking for a sign to get their lips injected by Dr. Anwar, this is it! I had been pondering on the idea of getting my lips injected for years now, but was always a little skeptical and worried about my lips coming out botched so I held off, as I've had issues with other cosmetic clinics before . I then came across Dr. Anwar on Instagram and was hooked after viewing his content and was particularly interested in the Russian lips, his floss technique and the keyhole pout. I reached out through their website and their receptionist gave me a call back. She was very sweet and helpful and booked me a consultation with Dr. Anwar so that we could meet and so that I had an opportunity to discuss the procedure and get all my questions answered. After the consultation, I went ahead and booked my appointment for a few weeks out, (although they did offer to do it the same day). When I came in, the day of, I was greeted by the staff and taken into a room to take before pictures & apply numbing cream. After some time, I was taken into another room where Dr. Anwar came in, made me feel SO comfortable, gave me a stress ball to squeeze, and before beginning the procedure, he checked in to see how numb I was & was very patient and tentative & applied more. As the procedure went on, Dr. Anwar was talking to me throughout the injections, to keep me relaxed and cheered me on. After the procedure was over, he got me all cleaned up, applied a lip balm/gloss, gave me an ice pack to take home & explained after-care directions. I asked and boy did he DELIVER! My self confidence has boosted tremendously. Dr. Anwar exceeded any/all expectations I had and I am so happy that I chose him to be my injector. Since then, I've been obsessed with taking selfies and trying new lip products. Thank you to Dr. Anwar & his amazing staff for taking such good care of me! I highly recommend Modern Aesthetics for all your filler needs Other things to note:They have a very glamorous clinic, in a very safe neighborhood of Roseville & they were doing a Holiday special so I got a nice discount on my filler :)"
"Dr. Anwar is amazing! I recently had my lips filled by him and I have never received more compliments. He is very knowledgeable. His technique is less painful than any I have ever experienced. I appreciate the time he took to understand my overall goal. He did not try to up sell or push any extra product. (I would have totally purchased I'm a sucker but appreciate his professionalism). He discussed placement and overall face portions. I appreciate his guidance through the procedure and the stress ball for the areas that stung a bit. Overall excellent experience; from reception to bedside manner to follow up with Birthday emails!"

"I haven't posted a review in a while, however, I had to in this case. A few days ago I visited Dr. Anwar for the first time to get Botox. I have never had Botox or any other sort of injections before. I am 31 and I was starting to notice lines forming on my forehead, in between my brows, crows feet, etc., so it was time to get something done. A good friend of mine referred me to Dr. Anwar and I made an appointment. Scheduling the appointment was a breeze - all done via text. I showed up for my appointment on a Monday at 3:30 and he was right on time. He brought me back to his office (very nice, clean, spacious - not sure where some other reviewers went?), and started talking to me about what I wanted out of the procedure, what look I was going for, etc. He was thorough in his explanation of the procedure, the expected results, and upkeep. I never once felt like I couldn't ask him questions - he even answered questions that my sister wanted me to ask him about her lips (lol). He began the Botox and was smooth, quick, and efficient. On a scale of 1-10 the pain was literally a 1/1.5. The procedure was a breeze. I am now 3 days post-Botox and I am thrilled with the result. I look like a brighter, more well rested version of myself. My husband, who rarely would notice a change short of dying my hair bright green, commented last night that I look younger - like I did before I had kids. Now that is what I was shooting for and Dr. Anwar hit the nail on the head. I am incredibly happy with the results of my Botox and will continue to visit Dr. Anwar for any future procedures."
"I've always been in love with the idea of being able to enhance your natural beauty but would still find myself apprehensive about getting lip fillers. With my twenty ninth birthday approaching I was set to do something for me! After looking at literally hundreds of different Instagram accounts and endless videos on YouTube, I knew I had to be even more confident in the office and injector of my choosing. A coworker of mine went to Dr. Anwar for lip filler and I fell in love with her results! Real life results do not lie. I finally booked my appointment. I wish I could give Dr. Anwar 100 stars because 5 just isn't close to enough. From the warm welcoming, to the exceptionally clean office. You feel comfortable the second you walk in. "Dr. Anwar was hands down the best experience I have ever had when it comes to getting lips fillers. I live in San Francisco and I went to him as a recommendation from a friend and I was very satisfied with the work he did. I didn't feel ANYTHING! I have been to a few places in S.F. & Sacramento to get my lips done and Modern Aesthetics in Roseville has by far been my favorite. The service and the price was great plus Dr. Anwar gave me a lip plumper that has me literally driving back to Roseville to pick up. This lip gloss is AMAZING! Ladies, I have tried it all. Every lip plumper you can think of from Sephora, I've tried. I'm not saying they were terrible but the lip plumper from Dr. Anwar is THE ONE! This lip plumper will literally have you hooked. Every time I put it on it feels like I just got my lips done (and we all know how much we love our lips after leaving the Dr.'s office). I just went to see him this past weekend and picked up 4 glosses as Christmas presents because my girlfriends are obsessed. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Anwar and calling him to get those glosses shipped because I sure tried. I'm pretty sure he has two offices. Roseville and Orinda (i think). Thank you Dr. Anwar!"
"Wow wow and WOW I went in to get lip fillers when entering the office dr.Anwar was extremely welcoming and definitely helped ease my nerves. I've had lip fillers done twice previously in the LA area because I couldn't seem to find anyone near by. After taking some time to look I found modern aesthetics and was impressed by the before and after pictures it was exactly what I was looking for. He asked me what results I was looking for and EXCEEDED my expectations they look like my lips but even better and he did an amazing job at keeping my defined Cupid's bow just how I wanted. To top it off it was almost painless which was crazy as my other experiences were not and no bruising?! How? This man is amazing. If you're thinking about it go for it!"
"I highly would recommend this med spa to anyone looking for friendly, professional, and top of the line service. The location is a beautiful spacious suite. inside Sola Salon suites. The receptionist was incredibly welcome and friendly. I had previously had some lip filler work done that wasn't done properly was unhappy with. I explained to Dr.Anwar my concerns and he carefully and respectfully listened to all my concerns and the outcome I was hoping to achieve. He balanced out my upper lip and overall did an incredible job. It was basically pain free minus a sting or two. He really took his time and it was obvious to me he knew what he was doing. I'm incredibly happy with the results. If you're looking for a lip injector, look no further, this is the place to go to!!"
"Hands down, the only place that I would recommend for anyone that wants to leave looking like a more beautiful version of themselves. I went in initially for fuller lips, however Dr. Anwar spoke with me about a few other options that would help improve my overall look. Dr. Anwar spoke with me about some other options that would really fill in the hollows under my eyes and my smile lines. I ended up doing less filler in my lips (they came out perfect and extremely natural and hydrated!) and using the extra filler under my eyes and smile lines. I could not believe the difference!! To say that I'm pleased with the outcome is an understatement. I cannot rave enough about how knowledgeable and amazing Dr. Anwar is!! His work is so subtle and yet the before and after is like magic. It was such a relaxing process from start to finish. The receptionist was so friendly and welcoming that every part of the process puts you completely at ease. If you're going to get anything done, this is absolutely the place to come!"

"I came here after following them on Instagram for awhile and immediately loved the work Dr Anwar does. This was going to be my second time have my lips done after not being happy with them the first time i had them done at a different spot. Dr Anwar actually took the time to sit and talk with me about what I want. He doesn't try talking you into more thank what you need and that is a major plus. I felt comfortable and left really happy with my results. I will definitely be back for me!"
"Dr. Anwar is an accomplished doctor who is phenomenal at enhancing ones natural beauty with a plethora of fun and exciting options. He keeps you looking like you, however, the better version of you. Dr. Anwar is exceptionally friendly, courteous and is uncomplicated to converse with. He makes you feel at ease and calm by the wealth of knowledge he provides. He doesn't "push" products on you and is honest and professional about what he recommends. His Office Manager, Keri, is warm, extremely friendly and so sweet. I adore them both! Also, Dr. Anwar uses a cannula technique VS a needle (which can cut through vessels and cause bruising and swelling). With Dr Anwar's cannula technique, I've had ZERO bruising in my lips or around my lips after lip fillers. I've had other experiences at other establishments where I've left with a fat lip, uneven and bruised. However, that hasn't happened once with Dr Anwar, which I am very happy about. His techniques and gentle hands make for an experience that you'll walk away from completely satisfied. I highly recommend him. Once you see how great he is, you won't want to go else where ever again."
"I've been to a few dermatologists and cosmetic surgeons offices for acne scarring (at least 5) and every one of them tried to sell me laser treatment without listening to me. Dr Amwar looked at my skin and came up with a conservative plan to treat the scarring without lasers. He also does the fillers himself (I've gotten assistants who didn't know what they were doing at previous places) and he did my lip injections without bruising and did my cheek fillers conservatively even when I thought I could use more in specific places he explained to me why it wouldn't be a good idea for my face shape. Other places probably would've just injected more but it seems he's not worried about the money, he really wants his patients to look their best and natural as possible while making them happy. I trust him now so I have no need to look anywhere else! I'm excited to see what we can do together for my skin! :)"
"I have been getting my lips done for the past three years, I've gone to see many different doctors and for the past year and a half I've been going to Dr. Anwar and his office, based off of a friends recommendation. "Run don't walk to see Dr. Anwar. I could go on and on about how great Dr. Anwar is as a person, or how brilliant and skilled his assistant Carrie is, both are true! But the real review is about his knowledge and technique in EVERYTHING beauty. I went in with an idea of what I thought I needed and left looking and feeling better than I have in years. I have had lip injections, Botox and fillers many times before, but never have I had these results! His products and procedures are the best and newest this industry has to offer. We did Botox, PDO Threads, a Vampire Facial (series of 3), and Lip Filler. These few minor procedures took 20 years off my look. I'm ecstatic! I will never go anyplace else."
