How is TCA Cross Performed?
TCA Cross sessions are performed at our Roseville, CA office. After a consultation, Dr. Anwar and the team will determine the concentration of TCA that should be applied to the scar based on the depth and extent of the scarring. The acid is placed inside the scar(s) using a small applicator that will not harm the surrounding skin. The area treated by TCA will exhibit a process called “frosting,” where it turns white and then red. This is normal and is a sign that the damaged skin will scab and heal, creating healthier skin. The treatment takes approximately 15 – 30 minutes at Modern Aesthetics, depending on the number of scars you have treated. Multiple treatments are often needed, and Dr. Anwar will provide detailed aftercare instructions so your results are not compromised.

Dr Anwar is an injection god. I went today and he did injection techniques I didn't know existed. I've gotten injections at other medspas in the past and was never "wowed" but I literally wowed out loud when I saw the results today. I'm blown away. He knows the products well and he knows how to use them properly for your face structure and skin type. Personality-wise, he has a very, very kind spirit and demeanor. Just a really nice dude! His staff was great too! There were also nurses doing training today and they were all lovely! Such a great experience! I'm still blown away. I will be Dr Anwar's pin cushion for life.
This place is amazing, Dr. Anwar did an amazing job on my lips and gave me exactly what I wanted! I am very pleased with my results!
