Our Injection Technique
RADIESSE dermal injections are performed in a treatment room at Modern Aesthetics for about 30 – 60 minutes once you have completed your consultation. To begin the treatment, you will sit in a relaxed position while the areas of injection are cleaned and marked. Many patients feel mild discomfort throughout the procedure at the first prick, but if needed, a local anesthetic will be applied to the injection sites. The dosage of RADIESSE, selected at your personalized treatment planning session, will be placed in a fine syringe. The marked site of injection will guide the injector to carefully administer RADIESSE into the needed areas. As soon as the procedure is complete, a compress can be applied to help alleviate bruising and swelling.

After your RADIESSE injection, you may have slight redness, swelling, and bruising. This is common and should only last for about 5 – 10 days.
