When you meet with Dr. Anwar for nutrition coaching, you will begin by discussing your past history and goals. Based on your unique needs and goals, several techniques may be utilized within your nutrition plan to help you succeed. Some clients may be asked to keep a food journal. This provides the client insight into what foods they eat throughout the day and how many calories they consume. A food diary can help patients understand their food habits and where they may be struggling. Dr. Anwar will help you know which foods to avoid and which foods to include in your meals to consume a well-balanced diet and get the nutrients you need to be healthy. Your plan may also include meal plans and recipes to help you be successful on your journey.
