How Does Hormone Replacement Therapy Work?
Your individualized hormone replacement therapy treatment plan will be created after a thorough consultation and exam with Dr. Anwar. To start your therapy, a blood panel and other diagnostic tests will be done to investigate your present hormone levels. This will allow our team to determine the level and method of treatment that could benefit you the most, in addition to the hormones that are out of balance. Your procedure may vary based on the variant of BHRT that is selected. Hormone replacement therapy is generally given as oral tablets, pellet therapy (small pellets introduced into your dermal layers), or shots. These hormones are structurally equivalent to your body's organic hormones.
