"I’ve been getting Botox for 10 years and have been to injectors all over the world, and Dr Anwar is truly excellent. His consultative skills are superb - he’ll talk to you and assess your preferences and goals and treat accordingly and more importantly transparently. There’s no hard sell here or anyone who will try to make you self conscious to push you into more services. The entire staff is wonderful and supportive. My face looks really well balanced, wrinkles gone, and my massater Botox is holding off my headaches and slimmed my face out nicely. "It was my first time coming to Modern Aesthetics, and I am so happy I made a consultation appointment! I have been hesitant to do any skin treatment for acne scaring as I have ethnic skin. And after coming into Modern Aesthetics, I immediately felt 100% comfortable and safe speaking with Dr. Anwar as he honestly explained in great detail about treatments and what would be best for my skin type. It also helps that he has ethnic skin like me. He explained what was best for my skin, especially with acne. The ladies at the front desk were also excellent and professional! "I started seeing Dr. Anwar late 2020 for lip fillers. I went to see him after getting my lips done somewhere else and realizing that I got scammed. My experience with Dr. Anwar was completely different. He explained the process to me, how much product he was using and educated me on his technique - which felt very safe and I truly felt that I was in good hands. I haven’t gone anywhere else since. Once I realized that Dr. Anwar was someone I could trust, I started taking advantage of the other services Modern Aesthetics offers. I have gotten laser hair removal, a cool peel and a hydra facial. all I could say is that I love LOVE coming here. The team is so nice, professional, knowledgeable, and most importantly very welcoming. I’ve had amazing results with hair removal in different areas of my body and also Dr.Anwar helped me fix my frown lines on my forehead that I was self-conscious about. "If you are looking for a professional place to get laser done, this is it!. I am absolutely amazed with the service I received today (laser hair removal). Since my consultation with Dr. Anwar I really like the way in which the process was explained and the available options given. Then I went to my first laser session today and all I can say is that is a painless and very profesional service. As a previous user of waxing I can tell you that the experience can't be compared because waxing is very painful. "I can go on and on about Dr. Anwar and how wonderful my experience was as a client of his... I made the best decision by switching to him as my primary injectables and skincare MD. My story starting out injectables for the first time is, well, sort of a horror story-- I naively went to a DDS without doing my research before hand. While I was lucky that he didn't screw my face up, I was being taken advantage of at that time-- for instance, my previous injectable professional would tell me to "bring cash for a discount" and be given ultimatums for higher prices if credit was used... and getting treatments of 30 units of dysport for nearly 15/unit... which is ridiculous... Sorry, venting... I digress... but it was at that time where I knew I had to find someone else. And if you're in a similar position, you should make the jump to Modern Aesthetics. After doing more research and receiving a recommendation from a friend-- I made an appointment with Dr. Anwar and traveled all the way from Napa, CA with my fiancé for injectables. I can truly say, without hesitation, that this appointment was the best appointment of my life. Dr. Anwar is extremely knowledgeable and genuinely cares for his clients. From the moment you walk in, the environment is welcoming, hospitable, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing. The facility also observes current Covid-19 protocols, which is always a plus. Dr. Anwar takes the time to get to know his clients and what they are expecting at their appointment. During the consultation, he asked me about my skincare routine, which I will admit, was lacking in many areas-- and like any good doctor, he gives professional recommendations to his patients. We also discussed what corrections I was looking to achieve, and he went above and beyond to make it happen. As an added bonus: Dr. Anwar constantly continues his education in the field of injectables--even after 10 years of existing experience. As a medical professional myself, this is a MUST in our field, and it's how we keep current on our education. This fact alone was the green light I needed to make the jump to Modern Aesthetics. Some small talk, laughs, and jokes--before you know it, my appointment was finished. Quick, painless, and precise. As I mentioned earlier, my skincare routine was lacking. I have acne prone skin, with a family history of adult acne. Post-tox, I asked Dr. Anwar for skincare recommendations. He again, went above and beyond for me, a brand new client. I purchased 4 skincare items and 2 supplements from his practice. These products are amazing and high quality-- if recommended by Dr. Anwar, I highly suggest investing. If you're thinking about visiting Dr. Anwar, and you're sitting here on Yelp going back and forth about whether you should make the appointment, PLEASE JUST DO IT. I can assure you, you will not be disappointed. If you're lucky, you'll get to see turkeys roaming the property which is so cool to watch. "Dr. Anwar and his whole entire staff are great!! Professional and polite. They answer all questions, and I never feel like they’re being pushy. Dr. Anwar is honest about how many units and/ or sessions you will need, and does not tell you that you need more than you actually do just so you spend more money. I have been going here for my Botox for about a year, and began my laser hair removal process about 2 months ago. I feel comfortable throughout the entire process. I can’t recommend Dr. Anwar’s office enough!!"
"Dr. Anwar is amazing! I have been his patient for many years and drive quite a distance to see him. I have very thin, sun-damaged skin that makes me a difficult patient to work with. I’m also very picky. Some treatments just don’t work on me because my skin is too thin (ie fillers). Dr. Anwar is always honest with me about what he thinks will work versus what won’t. He is always looking for something new to try. The PDO threads have been miraculous! Very dramatic results, and my skin is actually building collagen again and getting thicker. The fine lines are so much better. Botox also works well for me, and Dr Anwar always does beautiful work there too. Looking younger, but also very natural is my goal, and Dr Anwar excels at this. My friends that I have brought along with me have also been very happy with the results. I give Dr Anwar my highest recommendation! Caroline"

I've had a variety of treatments over the last 2 years and I'm always satisfied with the results and if I have any questions post treatment they are quick to respond with what I need. Injections are easy and comfortable with great results. Laser hair removal is the best I've ever had. The new modern equipment is NOT painful at all! The results are immediate! "From start to finish, our whole experience was absolutely amazing! Dr. Anwar and receptionist was wonderful! They were welcoming and super informative. After I had a baby, my face got a little saggy. I didn't want to go into major surgery for a face lift so I went for the PDO thread lift and boy... BEST DECISION EVER!! I am 35 years old and look like a 28 year old gal again lol. I have ZERO TOLERANCE for pain so I was pretty nervous about the procedure. However, Dr. Anwar gave me a tool to hold to comfort me and walked me through the whole process. The procedure was painless and quicker than I expected. It really is a lunch time face lift. There was no crazy bruising! Therfore, I have no problem attending my black and white tie event tomorrow. I drove all the way from the Bay area and will be driving back again for more procedures. I was pretty nervous going into the appointment, as I heard lasers were painful, and in the Brazilian area... the nurse, Nathalie made me feel so comfortable and talked me through the process so well, that it was only mildly uncomfortable in a couple areas. Super excited for the summer bathing suit season and to not have to worry about shaving/waxing anymore!"
"I love this place, they do such a wonderful job. I recieved laser hair removal on both my legs, underarms, and full Brazilian and I have to say it was the best decision. I never have to shave, I come in once a year for a touch up and I never have to worry about what I wear, if my legs are dress ready etc. Their staff is extremely helpful and put you completely at ease."

"Docor Anwar is honestly the best! I wouldn’t trust anyone but him to do my fillers and would recommend him to anyone that is remotely nervous about injections. I had gotten laser hair removal a few years ago from his staff and everything went amazing. So, fast forward to this week when I was looking to get fillers done I knew he was the one to go to. His location is very clean, he is very welcoming and super genuine. He truly makes you feel like family and gives very honest advice... he doesn’t try to sell you on more than what is necessary like some doctors would. I was a little nervous after seeing videos online of how painful fillers can be so he let me sit for a long time with the numbing cream on to reassure me it’ll be okay. He took his time explaining everything and I ended up feeling no plain what so ever. Throughout the process he would ask how I was doing and would pep talk me through every step of it. After, he made sure I had no questions left unanswered and that I was 100 percent satisfied. You can truly tell that he is very knowledgeable, professional, experienced and CARES about his patients. I would 10/10 recommend Doctor Anwar to anyone, he is a true artist!"

I used to get laser treatments in LA but I must say this was less painful compared to my last 6 treatments in LA. I love the fact that they give u plenty of time personally for the whole treatment."
"It’s been over a year since I visited and i feel that my results lasted months over what was expected. Now I’m ready to go back in. During my visit at no point did I feel pressured to do more than what was needed. Dr. Anwar didnt point out my flaws in an offensive manner, he was respectful and careful with the words he chose to relay his suggestions. That’s important because or else I think he would’ve made me feel like it was all about sales sales sales, and performing procedures that i didn’t really need just for the money. If anything, i think he was very affordable . If you follow him on Instagram he is constantly offering big discounts/ specials. He was so extremely profesional and made me feel like he cared about my concerns. I happened to mention i had a baby and my skin had changed so much postpartum with an increase in acne of which i was very self-conscious of. Instead of offering another procedure he handed me a full sized acne treatment Kit and asked me to try it out FREE. When i handed him a tip he would not accept it. If you’re looking for someone who cares, I suggest Dr. Anwar :)"
"I’ve been to a few dermatologists and cosmetic surgeons offices for acne scarring (at least 5) and every one of them tried to sell me laser treatment without listening to me. Dr Amwar looked at my skin and came up with a conservative plan to treat the scarring without lasers. He also does the fillers himself (I’ve gotten assistants who didn’t know what they were doing at previous places) and he did my lip injections without bruising and did my cheek fillers conservatively even when I thought I could use more in specific places he explained to me why it wouldn’t be a good idea for my face shape. Other places probably would’ve just injected more but it seems he’s not worried about the money, he really wants his patients to look their best and natural as possible while making them happy. I trust him now so I have no need to look anywhere else! I’m excited to see what we can do together for my skin! :)"
