"I have had a great experience with Modern Aesthetics. Booking is very easy with their text hotline. I come here for laser hair removal and although I haven't finished all of my sessions, I'm basically hairless already lol. I have also had Botox and filler with Dr Anwar and he does a great job. The filler was the least painful filler I've ever had so I'm not sure what technique he is using but it's fantastic! The results look very natural. His pricing for Botox is also one of the best around. The old med spa I used to go to has continuously raised their tox prices every year and it was getting ridiculously over priced. Dr Anwar himself is very kind, pleasant and friendly. He applies the filler/tox quickly but expertly."

"This was my second time at Modern Aesthetics and I want to keep it short and give my very honest review: Dr. Anwar is an amazing and magical doctor! I got C02 Laser, Microneedling+PRP package, with Tixel for my eyes and filler on my lips, PRP injections on my scalp and some tox. Dr. Anwar was VERY kind and patient during the whole procedure. Although I got so many treatments done in one day, I didn't feel ANY pain. His hands are from heaven!!! When I met Dr Anwar I knew I found my forever doctor. He is very experienced and treats me like a queen. He answers all of my questions and is not in a hurry. He stays within my budget and does not make me feel small when I ask him about prices (not like my previous doctor in Alamo, who always brought up my budget). Dr Anwar's prices are reasonable! For those of you, like me, who are terrified of botched work or have seen others with work done that looks kinda funny- save your time, money, and anxiety, and just go to Dr. Anwar. I have to give him zero instruction when I see him because he has an eye for truly the most beautiful and natural work. Trust in your doctor is number 1 and Dr. Anwar is honest in his opinion, the first to reel me back in when my request looks unnatural, and I feel comfortable knowing I will never unnecessarily spend money for product I don't need. "I’ve been going to Dr. Anwar for the past year, and can honestly say the experience I feel at this office is by far the best every time I go. Everyone is amazing, compassionate, caring, and very knowledgeable. I currently am getting the PRP eye injections to help with my eyes, and every time I get the injections I feel like “liquid gold” has been injected around my eyes. This process takes a series of injections, and not one and done, but can say over time, with a total of 5 series that I got each after every month, I have noticed my eye area become firmer, less dark, fine lines diminish, and younger! If your considering any dermatology treatment, I would recommend this office. You would leave feeling the best with the well rounded care that is provided here at the office."

Anyways most recently I went to him for mid plane barbed thread lifts (2X) and while the fist round was a huge improvement, I still had this marionette shadow that I disliked so much. So I went in for a second round and we figured out that the shadow was due to a chin implant I had in 2003. I was 21. Now I'm 41, getting older and my skin is starting to become more lax, so the chin implant was causing the lax skin to hang around either side. I mean nobody noticed it but me. Aging is hard for me. Anyways, about a week ago Dr Anwar did another round of threads on my marionette lines and used ultrasound to find the borders of my chin implant, the applied filler to even the plane. And I'm so impressed! The shadow I once hated is gone. AND it ended up lifting the corners of my mouth so I don't look like I have resting bitch face anymore. Highly recommend!! "I love Dr. Anwar, I think he is a man of great integrity and always has his patients best interest at heart. The first time I visited was after an awful experience at another local aesthetics office, my lips were so overfilled at the time and I was in a panic to find somewhere to get them dissolved. I met with Dr. Anwar and he assured me that even though they were over filled in some spots, they were still swollen and it was too soon to dissolve them. He said they would eventually go down once the swelling does and if at that time I still didn't like them, he would dissolve them. He even took the time to massage out the massive lumps of filler I had to make sure they would be even. I really appreciated him saying/doing this because I'm sure many offices would have no problem charging someone to dissolve filler. And Im very sure many Dr's would not even dedicate their valuable time to massage out lips that they didn't even do. Fast forward to today, I totally took advantage of their mothers day deal they having going on right now and showed up to their very elegant and clean office to get my botox done and some filler (or so I thought) . I met with Dr. Anwar and told him my concerns in regard to my wrinkles, which he corrected with botox and I also told him about the darkness under my eyes, which I thought would be corrected with filler. However, he educated me by taking photos of the various angles of my face and taking the time to zoom in and point out that my darkness is not due to hollowness under my eyes but rather discoloration and filler would not give me the results I am looking for. Which again, I very much appreciate and continues to support my idea that he always has the best interest of his patients in mind. I also asked him about preventative skin care services that he offered and he took the time to educate me on which ones would benefit me as well. "If anyone is looking for a sign to get their lips injected by Dr. Anwar, this is it! I had been pondering on the idea of getting my lips injected for years now, but was always a little skeptical and worried about my lips coming out botched so I held off, as I've had issues with other cosmetic clinics before . I then came across Dr. Anwar on Instagram and was hooked after viewing his content and was particularly interested in the Russian lips, his floss technique and the keyhole pout. I reached out through their website and their receptionist gave me a call back. She was very sweet and helpful and booked me a consultation with Dr. Anwar so that we could meet and so that I had an opportunity to discuss the procedure and get all my questions answered. After the consultation, I went ahead and booked my appointment for a few weeks out, (although they did offer to do it the same day). When I came in, the day of, I was greeted by the staff and taken into a room to take before pictures & apply numbing cream. My story starting out injectables for the first time is, well, sort of a horror story-- I naively went to a DDS without doing my research before hand. "This was my first time seeing the doctor. He was professional, personable and extremely knowledgeable. I went for under eye filler. He asked what my expectations were and what I was looking for in regard to results. The fat pocket under my eye was slipping as a result of my age. He explained his process as well as a more invasive process including surgery that he could refer out. I asked some follow up questions. He was extremely honest on forthcoming as the what I expect my results to be. He told me that for my particular situation, I would be looking at anywhere from a 30-50% improvement with fillers. He even went as far as suggesting that I research the surgery and possibly sit on it before deciding if I wanted to move forward with the fillers. That was huge for me, he is not in it for the money. He could of told me what I wanted to hear, charged me and sent me on my way. Instead he was patient, I was not rushed and did not make me feel like I had to decide on the fillers. That speaks volumes about a person and their character. He could of told me I needed 19 products, 3 syringes and I would have believed him. We all get caught up wanting magic and he was very straight with the facts and results. He also went on to tell me that there are so many other contributing factors that contribute to the aging process. Sleep, hydration, stress. He was interested in educating me, not just fixing the problem I presented. I decided to move forward with the fillers. He totally undersold the positive impact. I had it done this morning and I keep going my the mirror and I no longer can see that line under my eyes. I am so very pleased with the results. There is a entire wall of products in his office. He never even mentioned purchasing anything or what he suggested for maintence. I know you all know what I’m talking about. You get that new service and they sell you an additional $100.00 of product as you walk out the door. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. After I had a baby, my face got a little saggy. I didn't want to go into major surgery for a face lift so I went for the PDO thread lift and boy... BEST DECISION EVER!! I am 35 years old and look like a 28 year old gal again lol. I have ZERO TOLERANCE for pain so I was pretty nervous about the procedure. I live in San Francisco and I went to him as a recommendation from a friend and I was very satisfied with the work he did. I didn't feel ANYTHING! I have been to a few places in S.F. & Sacramento to get my lips done and Modern Aesthetics in Roseville has by far been my favorite. The service and the price was great plus Dr. Anwar gave me a lip plumper that has me literally driving back to Roseville to pick up. This lip gloss is AMAZING! Ladies, I have tried it all. The receptionist was incredibly welcome and friendly. I had previously had some lip filler work done that wasn't done properly was unhappy with. I explained to Dr.Anwar my concerns and he carefully and respectfully listened to all my concerns and the outcome I was hoping to achieve. "I got lip injections previously at a practice in southern California a few months ago but have been actively searching for a practice within the Sacramento area as that is more convenient for me. I searched for months with no luck as I just wasn’t impressed with the results that doctors in Sacramento and was beginning to give up but by chance I found Modern Aesthetics. I’m so glad I did! Once I stalked their Instagram page and saw how beautiful the results of the patients’ looked, I knew it was the place for me! Dr. Anwar is great and very friendly. He explains everything in detail so there isn’t any confusion. I got one syringe of juvederm in the lips and he also put a bit into my chin to balance out my facial features and the results look beautiful! I hardly felt any pain during the procedure which surprised me alot! At the other facility in the LA area, I left pretty badly bruised and it hurt as my lips were getting injected but that wasn’t the case with Dr. Anwar. I was very surprised by this. I’m so happy that I found him! I will be going back in the future for other treatments. It’s been a few hours and my lips aren’t as swollen as they were when I got them done the first time at the other facility."

"I was going to wait until after my follow up appointment to review, because I plan on getting more juvederm at that time. But I was so impressed, that I decided to review now, I got 1 syringe of juvederm in my lips about a week, ago. I've had fillers several times, done by other doctors. Dr. Anwar used a different technique than the doctors I've been to in the past, and I must say, Dr. Anwar's technique is far superior. I had absolutely no bruising. Not a mark. I've literally walked away from previous injections looking like I got kicked in the face and this time was nothing like that. In addition to a complete lack of bruising, I had hardly any swelling. The little bit of swelling I did experience subsided within 24 hours. Now, at about a week post-injection, I have a subtle plump to my lips, Dr. Anwar actually managed to even out some natural asymmetry I had. Something that I really liked about him was the fact that he didn't at all product push. He wasn't all about getting more money out of me. I say that because I went in there saying I might want to get 2 syringes in my lips. He injected one and then respectfully declined the second one, explaining that doing 2 in one visit could potentially cause lumpiness in my case. I've struggled with lumps in the past, so I really wanted to avoid this happening again! He said he'd like for me to come back in 2 weeks for a follow up and we could add more at that time, with better results. So, I really appreciate that he gave his honest opinion of what would be the best course of action, rather than just jumping at the opportunity to use more product, potentially trading better results for more money in a single appointment. I really feel like there aren't a lot of doctors out there these days like that. I fully trust Dr. Anwar now, I'm glad I found him, & I'll definitely be seeing him again next week!"
"I have been going to Dr. Anwar for the last 2 years. I have gone to other medical spa's for botox and filler but have realized that I get the best results when I am treated by him. He is obviously passionate about what he does for his clients. He has an extreme amount of knowledge on facial muscles and anatomy. Every time I come in he is up to date on the latest esthetic treatments. He is conscious of comfort and pain during treatment. I was very anxious about the discomfort of receiving filler but his technique gave me minimal discomfort. For my experience, he is one of the top providers for botox and filler. Also I appreciate that he is conservative on the amount of products he uses. I didn't feel like he intentionally tried to put a lot of product in my face rather he used what he felt was necessary for the results I wanted. Importantly he listens and does his best to make my vision a reality. I have referred close family and friend to him. They all have been very pleased and will sometimes drive all the way from the Bay Area to be treated by him. The last time I was treated by Dr. Anwar he injected filler under my eyes. It did not hurt at all, no swelling and 2 months later I still see a dramatic difference. He also has a wealth of knowledge on hormone therapy."

"Hands down, the only place that I would recommend for anyone that wants to leave looking like a more beautiful version of themselves. I went in initially for fuller lips, however Dr. Anwar spoke with me about a few other options that would help improve my overall look. Dr. Anwar spoke with me about some other options that would really fill in the hollows under my eyes and my smile lines. I ended up doing less filler in my lips (they came out perfect and extremely natural and hydrated!) and using the extra filler under my eyes and smile lines. I could not believe the difference!! To say that I'm pleased with the outcome is an understatement. I cannot rave enough about how knowledgeable and amazing Dr. Anwar is!! His work is so subtle and yet the before and after is like magic. It was such a relaxing process from start to finish.
