"I have had a great experience with Modern Aesthetics. Booking is very easy with their text hotline. I come here for laser hair removal and although I haven't finished all of my sessions, I'm basically hairless already lol. I have also had Botox and filler with Dr Anwar and he does a great job. The filler was the least painful filler I've ever had so I'm not sure what technique he is using but it's fantastic! The results look very natural. His pricing for Botox is also one of the best around. The old med spa I used to go to has continuously raised their tox prices every year and it was getting ridiculously over priced. Dr Anwar himself is very kind, pleasant and friendly. He applies the filler/tox quickly but expertly."

"Dr Anwar is amazing and so is his staff! I have been receiving botox and filler for years now and have had some great doctors and then some not so much. When I met Dr Anwar I knew I found my forever doctor. He is very experienced and treats me like a queen. He answers all of my questions and is not in a hurry. He stays within my budget and does not make me feel small when I ask him about prices (not like my previous doctor in Alamo, who always brought up my budget). Dr Anwar's prices are reasonable! "Amber S is amazing. I used to be her client at her previous location and have not found a better injector. She listens to your concerns and goes over all options, carefully explaining what the process and procedures are and has great skills for injecting. Her technique is painless and I never bruise, I appreciate how she educates her clients on the products as well as placement for injecting. I have gone to many many many different places always chasing the best price instead of going to the best aesthetic injector. After many failed procedures that left me unsatisfied I decided to go to modern aesthetics and had Amber correct my concerns. I am now 4 days past from seeing her and I can already see results. She seriously is the best!!! Never chase the lowest Botox or filler deals. Chase the injector. Check out modern aesthetics you won't be disappointed. "I'm embarrassed it has taken me this long to post a review. I have seen Dr. Anwar now for 8 years, receiving Botox and filler. For those of you, like me, who are terrified of botched work or have seen others with work done that looks kinda funny- save your time, money, and anxiety, and just go to Dr. Anwar. I have to give him zero instruction when I see him because he has an eye for truly the most beautiful and natural work. Trust in your doctor is number 1 and Dr. Anwar is honest in his opinion, the first to reel me back in when my request looks unnatural, and I feel comfortable knowing I will never unnecessarily spend money for product I don't need. I am careful in recommendations when it comes to people I love, but my whole family and so many friends see Dr. Anwar and I will forever recommend this wonderful man and his whole practice!"

"I love Dr. Anwar, I think he is a man of great integrity and always has his patients best interest at heart. The first time I visited was after an awful experience at another local aesthetics office, my lips were so overfilled at the time and I was in a panic to find somewhere to get them dissolved. I met with Dr. Anwar and he assured me that even though they were over filled in some spots, they were still swollen and it was too soon to dissolve them. He said they would eventually go down once the swelling does and if at that time I still didn't like them, he would dissolve them. He even took the time to massage out the massive lumps of filler I had to make sure they would be even. I really appreciated him saying/doing this because I'm sure many offices would have no problem charging someone to dissolve filler. And Im very sure many Dr's would not even dedicate their valuable time to massage out lips that they didn't even do. Fast forward to today, I totally took advantage of their mothers day deal they having going on right now and showed up to their very elegant and clean office to get my botox done and some filler (or so I thought) . I met with Dr. Anwar and told him my concerns in regard to my wrinkles, which he corrected with botox and I also told him about the darkness under my eyes, which I thought would be corrected with filler. However, he educated me by taking photos of the various angles of my face and taking the time to zoom in and point out that my darkness is not due to hollowness under my eyes but rather discoloration and filler would not give me the results I am looking for. Which again, I very much appreciate and continues to support my idea that he always has the best interest of his patients in mind. I also asked him about preventative skin care services that he offered and he took the time to educate me on which ones would benefit me as well. He is such an amazing doctor and I fully trust/ recommend him. ALSO, upon leaving, I got THE CUTEST little cookie with a little Aesthetic syringe drawn on it, and it was delicious :) Fix my wrinkles AND give me a cookie? Yes please! I WILL be forever returning :)"

"Dr. Anwar is the king of injectables! He is an artist at achieving the look you desire. I completely trust him with my Botox. He was suggested by my facialist, and I'm so happy to have found him. Yes, you will pay a little more- but this is your face we are talking about. I have been to other (cheaper) Botox places, and had much lesser results, and even a droopy eye. Go to a professional-so worth it."

"Dr Anwar is amazing, I have been getting botox for many years from different providers, unfortunately botox doesn't work for me, after getting 80 units and getting results just for 3 months I had given up. Dr Anwar tried Newtox(jeveau).... it's been 9 months and my face is still frozen... btw he only used 46 units and worked immediately!!! I highly recommend him... he's very affordable and reasonable!! Love his professionalism too!!"
"I can go on and on about Dr. Anwar and how wonderful my experience was as a client of his... I made the best decision by switching to him as my primary injectables and skincare MD. My story starting out injectables for the first time is, well, sort of a horror story-- I naively went to a DDS without doing my research before hand. While I was lucky that he didn't screw my face up, I was being taken advantage of at that time-- for instance, my previous injectable professional would tell me to "bring cash for a discount" and be given ultimatums for higher prices if credit was used... and getting treatments of 30 units of dysport for nearly 15/unit... which is ridiculous...Sorry, venting... I digress... but it was at that time where I knew I had to find someone else. And if you're in a similar position, you should make the jump to Modern Aesthetics. After doing more research and receiving a recommendation from a friend-- I made an appointment with Dr. Anwar and traveled all the way from Napa, CA with my fiancé for injectables. I can truly say, without hesitation, that this appointment was the best appointment of my life. Dr. Anwar is extremely knowledgeable and genuinely cares for his clients. From the moment you walk in, the environment is welcoming, hospitable, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing. The facility also observes current Covid-19 protocols, which is always a plus. Dr. Anwar takes the time to get to know his clients and what they are expecting at their appointment. During the consultation, he asked me about my skincare routine, which I will admit, was lacking in many areas-- and like any good doctor, he gives professional recommendations to his patients. We also discussed what corrections I was looking to achieve, and he went above and beyond to make it happen. As an added bonus: Dr. Anwar constantly continues his education in the field of injectables--even after 10 years of existing experience. As a medical professional myself, this is a MUST in our field, and it's how we keep current on our education. This fact alone was the green light I needed to make the jump to Modern Aesthetics. Some small talk, laughs, and jokes--before you know it, my appointment was finished. Quick, painless, and precise. As I mentioned earlier, my skincare routine was lacking. I have acne prone skin, with a family history of adult acne. Post-tox, I asked Dr. Anwar for skincare recommendations. He again, went above and beyond for me, a brand new client. I purchased 4 skincare items and 2 supplements from his practice. These products are amazing and high quality-- if recommended by Dr. Anwar, I highly suggest investing. If you're thinking about visiting Dr. Anwar, and you're sitting here on Yelp going back and forth about whether you should make the appointment, PLEASE JUST DO IT. I can assure you, you will not be disappointed. If you're lucky, you'll get to see turkeys roaming the property which is so cool to watch. Dr. Anwar & Staff, if you're reading this, thank you so much for everything. I could not stop raving about the service I received to my fiancé (who was literally there the whole time and probably sick of hearing it for the entire way home). I cannot wait to come back a few months before the wedding to see you all again and get more work done."
"I haven't posted a review in a while, however, I had to in this case. A few days ago I visited Dr. Anwar for the first time to get Botox. I have never had Botox or any other sort of injections before. I am 31 and I was starting to notice lines forming on my forehead, in between my brows, crows feet, etc., so it was time to get something done. A good friend of mine referred me to Dr. Anwar and I made an appointment. Scheduling the appointment was a breeze - all done via text. I showed up for my appointment on a Monday at 3:30 and he was right on time. He brought me back to his office (very nice, clean, spacious - not sure where some other reviewers went?), and started talking to me about what I wanted out of the procedure, what look I was going for, etc. He was thorough in his explanation of the procedure, the expected results, and upkeep. I never once felt like I couldn't ask him questions - he even answered questions that my sister wanted me to ask him about her lips (lol). He began the Botox and was smooth, quick, and efficient. On a scale of 1-10 the pain was literally a 1/1.5. The procedure was a breeze. I am now 3 days post-Botox and I am thrilled with the result. I look like a brighter, more well rested version of myself. My husband, who rarely would notice a change short of dying my hair bright green, commented last night that I look younger - like I did before I had kids. Now that is what I was shooting for and Dr. Anwar hit the nail on the head. I am incredibly happy with the results of my Botox and will continue to visit Dr. Anwar for any future procedures."
"Writing this on my mother's Yelp account but for reference I am a 31 y/o Asian female. Girls, believe me when I say magic is real and Dr. Anwar is THE magician! I've been to multiple medical spas in Northern California and Los Angeles but have yet to write any of them a review because they all left me underwhelmed. But not today. "Dr. Anwar exceeded my expectations.I had my first appointment for botox eith him and I was skeptical. I had filler done before at a different business and it felt like a chop shop. But the real review is about his knowledge and technique in EVERYTHING beauty. I went in with an idea of what I thought I needed and left looking and feeling better than I have in years. I have had lip injections, Botox and fillers many times before, but never have I had these results! His products and procedures are the best and newest this industry has to offer.
