"I went here for under eye fillers. As a background, I've had deep sunken & dark eyes since I was super young and they've been getting only worse as I'm growing older. Dr. Anwar recommended i get under eye fillers and PRP done. The fillers for the volume & PRP for brightening the under eyes. My experience during the filler was painless. Dr. Anwar uses a cannula technique that left no swelling and no bruising. It didn't even look like i had just got something injected. As for results, I didn't get crazy drastic results, but I didn't expect that either. My dark circles are still there but because my eyes were so badly sunken, the fillers helped with the volume deficit and now my under eyes look better and slightly lighter. I will be returning to get PRP done to help with the pigmentation"

"I have had a great experience with Modern Aesthetics. Booking is very easy with their text hotline. I come here for laser hair removal and although I haven't finished all of my sessions, I'm basically hairless already lol. I have also had Botox and filler with Dr Anwar and he does a great job. The filler was the least painful filler I've ever had so I'm not sure what technique he is using but it's fantastic! The results look very natural. His pricing for Botox is also one of the best around. The old med spa I used to go to has continuously raised their tox prices every year and it was getting ridiculously over priced. Dr Anwar himself is very kind, pleasant and friendly. He applies the filler/tox quickly but expertly."

"This was my second time at Modern Aesthetics and I want to keep it short and give my very honest review: Dr. Anwar is an amazing and magical doctor! I got C02 Laser, Microneedling+PRP package, with Tixel for my eyes and filler on my lips, PRP injections on my scalp and some tox. Dr. Anwar was VERY kind and patient during the whole procedure. Although I got so many treatments done in one day, I didn't feel ANY pain. His hands are from heaven!!! "Dr Anwar is amazing and so is his staff! I have been receiving botox and filler for years now and have had some great doctors and then some not so much. When I met Dr Anwar I knew I found my forever doctor. He is very experienced and treats me like a queen. He answers all of my questions and is not in a hurry. He stays within my budget and does not make me feel small when I ask him about prices (not like my previous doctor in Alamo, who always brought up my budget). Dr Anwar's prices are reasonable! "Amber S is amazing. I used to be her client at her previous location and have not found a better injector. She listens to your concerns and goes over all options, carefully explaining what the process and procedures are and has great skills for injecting. "I'm embarrassed it has taken me this long to post a review. I have seen Dr. Anwar now for 8 years, receiving Botox and filler. For those of you, like me, who are terrified of botched work or have seen others with work done that looks kinda funny- save your time, money, and anxiety, and just go to Dr. Anwar. I have to give him zero instruction when I see him because he has an eye for truly the most beautiful and natural work. Trust in your doctor is number 1 and Dr. Anwar is honest in his opinion, the first to reel me back in when my request looks unnatural, and I feel comfortable knowing I will never unnecessarily spend money for product I don't need. "I've said it before & I'll say it again- Dr Anwar is hands down the best injector I've ever worked with. And I've been to many across California. Anyways most recently I went to him for mid plane barbed thread lifts (2X) and while the fist round was a huge improvement, I still had this marionette shadow that I disliked so much. So I went in for a second round and we figured out that the shadow was due to a chin implant I had in 2003. I was 21. Now I'm 41, getting older and my skin is starting to become more lax, so the chin implant was causing the lax skin to hang around either side. I mean nobody noticed it but me. Aging is hard for me. Anyways, about a week ago Dr Anwar did another round of threads on my marionette lines and used ultrasound to find the borders of my chin implant, the applied filler to even the plane. And I'm so impressed! The shadow I once hated is gone. AND it ended up lifting the corners of my mouth so I don't look like I have resting bitch face anymore. Highly recommend!! PS I've been going to see Dr Anwar a few times a year at least since 2018 and I've ALWAYS been pleased with my outcomes!!"
"I started seeing Dr. Anwar late 2020 for lip fillers. I went to see him after getting my lips done somewhere else and realizing that I got scammed. My experience with Dr. Anwar was completely different. He explained the process to me, how much product he was using and educated me on his technique - which felt very safe and I truly felt that I was in good hands. I haven’t gone anywhere else since. Once I realized that Dr. Anwar was someone I could trust, I started taking advantage of the other services Modern Aesthetics offers. I have gotten laser hair removal, a cool peel and a hydra facial. all I could say is that I love LOVE coming here. The team is so nice, professional, knowledgeable, and most importantly very welcoming. I appreciate that no matter what service I’m getting, they’re always taking their time with me and I always get the best treatment :’)"
"I love Dr. Anwar, I think he is a man of great integrity and always has his patients best interest at heart. The first time I visited was after an awful experience at another local aesthetics office, my lips were so overfilled at the time and I was in a panic to find somewhere to get them dissolved. I met with Dr. Anwar and he assured me that even though they were over filled in some spots, they were still swollen and it was too soon to dissolve them. He said they would eventually go down once the swelling does and if at that time I still didn't like them, he would dissolve them. He even took the time to massage out the massive lumps of filler I had to make sure they would be even. I really appreciated him saying/doing this because I'm sure many offices would have no problem charging someone to dissolve filler. And Im very sure many Dr's would not even dedicate their valuable time to massage out lips that they didn't even do. Fast forward to today, I totally took advantage of their mothers day deal they having going on right now and showed up to their very elegant and clean office to get my botox done and some filler (or so I thought) . I met with Dr. Anwar and told him my concerns in regard to my wrinkles, which he corrected with botox and I also told him about the darkness under my eyes, which I thought would be corrected with filler. However, he educated me by taking photos of the various angles of my face and taking the time to zoom in and point out that my darkness is not due to hollowness under my eyes but rather discoloration and filler would not give me the results I am looking for. Which again, I very much appreciate and continues to support my idea that he always has the best interest of his patients in mind. I also asked him about preventative skin care services that he offered and he took the time to educate me on which ones would benefit me as well. He is such an amazing doctor and I fully trust/ recommend him. ALSO, upon leaving, I got THE CUTEST little cookie with a little Aesthetic syringe drawn on it, and it was delicious :) Fix my wrinkles AND give me a cookie? Yes please! I WILL be forever returning :)"
"If anyone is looking for a sign to get their lips injected by Dr. Anwar, this is it! I had been pondering on the idea of getting my lips injected for years now, but was always a little skeptical and worried about my lips coming out botched so I held off, as I've had issues with other cosmetic clinics before . I then came across Dr. Anwar on Instagram and was hooked after viewing his content and was particularly interested in the Russian lips, his floss technique and the keyhole pout. I reached out through their website and their receptionist gave me a call back. She was very sweet and helpful and booked me a consultation with Dr. Anwar so that we could meet and so that I had an opportunity to discuss the procedure and get all my questions answered. After the consultation, I went ahead and booked my appointment for a few weeks out, (although they did offer to do it the same day). When I came in, the day of, I was greeted by the staff and taken into a room to take before pictures & apply numbing cream. After some time, I was taken into another room where Dr. Anwar came in, made me feel SO comfortable, gave me a stress ball to squeeze, and before beginning the procedure, he checked in to see how numb I was & was very patient and tentative & applied more. As the procedure went on, Dr. Anwar was talking to me throughout the injections, to keep me relaxed and cheered me on. After the procedure was over, he got me all cleaned up, applied a lip balm/gloss, gave me an ice pack to take home & explained after-care directions. I asked and boy did he DELIVER! My self confidence has boosted tremendously. Dr. Anwar exceeded any/all expectations I had and I am so happy that I chose him to be my injector. Since then, I've been obsessed with taking selfies and trying new lip products. Thank you to Dr. Anwar & his amazing staff for taking such good care of me! "Dr Anwar is amazing, I have been getting botox for many years from different providers, unfortunately botox doesn't work for me, after getting 80 units and getting results just for 3 months I had given up. Dr Anwar tried Newtox(jeveau).... it's been 9 months and my face is still frozen... btw he only used 46 units and worked immediately!!! I highly recommend him... he's very affordable and reasonable!! "I can go on and on about Dr. Anwar and how wonderful my experience was as a client of his... I made the best decision by switching to him as my primary injectables and skincare MD. My story starting out injectables for the first time is, well, sort of a horror story-- I naively went to a DDS without doing my research before hand. While I was lucky that he didn't screw my face up, I was being taken advantage of at that time-- for instance, my previous injectable professional would tell me to "bring cash for a discount" and be given ultimatums for higher prices if credit was used... and getting treatments of 30 units of dysport for nearly 15/unit... which is ridiculous...Sorry, venting... I digress... but it was at that time where I knew I had to find someone else. And if you're in a similar position, you should make the jump to Modern Aesthetics. After doing more research and receiving a recommendation from a friend-- I made an appointment with Dr. Anwar and traveled all the way from Napa, CA with my fiancé for injectables. I can truly say, without hesitation, that this appointment was the best appointment of my life. Dr. Anwar is extremely knowledgeable and genuinely cares for his clients. From the moment you walk in, the environment is welcoming, hospitable, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing. The facility also observes current Covid-19 protocols, which is always a plus. Dr. Anwar takes the time to get to know his clients and what they are expecting at their appointment. During the consultation, he asked me about my skincare routine, which I will admit, was lacking in many areas-- and like any good doctor, he gives professional recommendations to his patients. "I haven't posted a review in a while, however, I had to in this case. A few days ago I visited Dr. Anwar for the first time to get Botox. I have never had Botox or any other sort of injections before. I am 31 and I was starting to notice lines forming on my forehead, in between my brows, crows feet, etc., so it was time to get something done. A good friend of mine referred me to Dr. Anwar and I made an appointment. Scheduling the appointment was a breeze - all done via text. I showed up for my appointment on a Monday at 3:30 and he was right on time. He brought me back to his office (very nice, clean, spacious - not sure where some other reviewers went?), and started talking to me about what I wanted out of the procedure, what look I was going for, etc. He was thorough in his explanation of the procedure, the expected results, and upkeep. I never once felt like I couldn't ask him questions - he even answered questions that my sister wanted me to ask him about her lips (lol). He began the Botox and was smooth, quick, and efficient. On a scale of 1-10 the pain was literally a 1/1.5. The procedure was a breeze. I am now 3 days post-Botox and I am thrilled with the result. I look like a brighter, more well rested version of myself. My husband, who rarely would notice a change short of dying my hair bright green, commented last night that I look younger - like I did before I had kids. "I highly would recommend this med spa to anyone looking for friendly, professional, and top of the line service. The location is a beautiful spacious suite. inside Sola Salon suites. The receptionist was incredibly welcome and friendly. I had previously had some lip filler work done that wasn't done properly was unhappy with. I explained to Dr.Anwar my concerns and he carefully and respectfully listened to all my concerns and the outcome I was hoping to achieve. He balanced out my upper lip and overall did an incredible job. It was basically pain free minus a sting or two. He really took his time and it was obvious to me he knew what he was doing. "Hands down, the only place that I would recommend for anyone that wants to leave looking like a more beautiful version of themselves. I went in initially for fuller lips, however Dr. Anwar spoke with me about a few other options that would help improve my overall look. Dr. Anwar spoke with me about some other options that would really fill in the hollows under my eyes and my smile lines. I ended up doing less filler in my lips (they came out perfect and extremely natural and hydrated!) and using the extra filler under my eyes and smile lines. I could not believe the difference!! To say that I'm pleased with the outcome is an understatement. I cannot rave enough about how knowledgeable and amazing Dr. Anwar is!! His work is so subtle and yet the before and after is like magic. It was such a relaxing process from start to finish. "Dr. Anwar exceeded my expectations.I had my first appointment for botox eith him and I was skeptical. I had filler done before at a different business and it felt like a chop shop. My experience there was unpleasant and the results didn't last more than a month. I was so pleased that Dr. Anwar was willing to take time with me. With Dr Anwar’s cannula technique, I’ve had ZERO bruising in my lips or around my lips after lip fillers. I’ve had other experiences at other establishments where I’ve left with a fat lip, uneven and bruised. However, that hasn’t happened once with Dr Anwar, which I am very happy about. Dr Amwar looked at my skin and came up with a conservative plan to treat the scarring without lasers.
