"I have had a great experience with Modern Aesthetics. Booking is very easy with their text hotline. I come here for laser hair removal and although I haven't finished all of my sessions, I'm basically hairless already lol. I have also had Botox and filler with Dr Anwar and he does a great job. The filler was the least painful filler I've ever had so I'm not sure what technique he is using but it's fantastic! The results look very natural. His pricing for Botox is also one of the best around. The old med spa I used to go to has continuously raised their tox prices every year and it was getting ridiculously over priced. Dr Anwar himself is very kind, pleasant and friendly. He applies the filler/tox quickly but expertly."

"This was my second time at Modern Aesthetics and I want to keep it short and give my very honest review: Dr. Anwar is an amazing and magical doctor! I got C02 Laser, Microneedling+PRP package, with Tixel for my eyes and filler on my lips, PRP injections on my scalp and some tox. Dr. Anwar was VERY kind and patient during the whole procedure. Although I got so many treatments done in one day, I didn't feel ANY pain. His hands are from heaven!!! My face healed in the 2nd day, my lips are SO nature and beautifully done, even my households couldn't tell I got Lip Fillers done. "I'm embarrassed it has taken me this long to post a review. I have seen Dr. Anwar now for 8 years, receiving Botox and filler. For those of you, like me, who are terrified of botched work or have seen others with work done that looks kinda funny- save your time, money, and anxiety, and just go to Dr. Anwar. I have to give him zero instruction when I see him because he has an eye for truly the most beautiful and natural work. Trust in your doctor is number 1 and Dr. Anwar is honest in his opinion, the first to reel me back in when my request looks unnatural, and I feel comfortable knowing I will never unnecessarily spend money for product I don't need. I am careful in recommendations when it comes to people I love, but my whole family and so many friends see Dr. Anwar and I will forever recommend this wonderful man and his whole practice!"

"I've said it before & I'll say it again- Dr Anwar is hands down the best injector I've ever worked with. And I've been to many across California. Anyways most recently I went to him for mid plane barbed thread lifts (2X) and while the fist round was a huge improvement, I still had this marionette shadow that I disliked so much. So I went in for a second round and we figured out that the shadow was due to a chin implant I had in 2003. I was 21. Now I'm 41, getting older and my skin is starting to become more lax, so the chin implant was causing the lax skin to hang around either side. I mean nobody noticed it but me. Aging is hard for me. Anyways, about a week ago Dr Anwar did another round of threads on my marionette lines and used ultrasound to find the borders of my chin implant, the applied filler to even the plane. And I'm so impressed! The shadow I once hated is gone. AND it ended up lifting the corners of my mouth so I don't look like I have resting bitch face anymore. Highly recommend!! PS I've been going to see Dr Anwar a few times a year at least since 2018 and I've ALWAYS been pleased with my outcomes!!"

"I started seeing Dr. Anwar late 2020 for lip fillers. I went to see him after getting my lips done somewhere else and realizing that I got scammed. My experience with Dr. Anwar was completely different. He explained the process to me, how much product he was using and educated me on his technique - which felt very safe and I truly felt that I was in good hands. I haven’t gone anywhere else since. Once I realized that Dr. Anwar was someone I could trust, I started taking advantage of the other services Modern Aesthetics offers. But when I came across Modern Aesthetics I realized I found the spot and was ready to do this. I normally don’t handle pain very well I’m very sensitive. "I love Dr. Anwar, I think he is a man of great integrity and always has his patients best interest at heart. The first time I visited was after an awful experience at another local aesthetics office, my lips were so overfilled at the time and I was in a panic to find somewhere to get them dissolved. I met with Dr. Anwar and he assured me that even though they were over filled in some spots, they were still swollen and it was too soon to dissolve them. He said they would eventually go down once the swelling does and if at that time I still didn't like them, he would dissolve them. He even took the time to massage out the massive lumps of filler I had to make sure they would be even. I really appreciated him saying/doing this because I'm sure many offices would have no problem charging someone to dissolve filler. And Im very sure many Dr's would not even dedicate their valuable time to massage out lips that they didn't even do. Fast forward to today, I totally took advantage of their mothers day deal they having going on right now and showed up to their very elegant and clean office to get my botox done and some filler (or so I thought) . I met with Dr. Anwar and told him my concerns in regard to my wrinkles, which he corrected with botox and I also told him about the darkness under my eyes, which I thought would be corrected with filler. However, he educated me by taking photos of the various angles of my face and taking the time to zoom in and point out that my darkness is not due to hollowness under my eyes but rather discoloration and filler would not give me the results I am looking for. Which again, I very much appreciate and continues to support my idea that he always has the best interest of his patients in mind. I also asked him about preventative skin care services that he offered and he took the time to educate me on which ones would benefit me as well. He is such an amazing doctor and I fully trust/ recommend him. ALSO, upon leaving, I got THE CUTEST little cookie with a little Aesthetic syringe drawn on it, and it was delicious :) Fix my wrinkles AND give me a cookie? Yes please! I WILL be forever returning :)"
"If anyone is looking for a sign to get their lips injected by Dr. Anwar, this is it! I had been pondering on the idea of getting my lips injected for years now, but was always a little skeptical and worried about my lips coming out botched so I held off, as I've had issues with other cosmetic clinics before . I then came across Dr. Anwar on Instagram and was hooked after viewing his content and was particularly interested in the Russian lips, his floss technique and the keyhole pout. I reached out through their website and their receptionist gave me a call back. She was very sweet and helpful and booked me a consultation with Dr. Anwar so that we could meet and so that I had an opportunity to discuss the procedure and get all my questions answered. After the consultation, I went ahead and booked my appointment for a few weeks out, (although they did offer to do it the same day). When I came in, the day of, I was greeted by the staff and taken into a room to take before pictures & apply numbing cream. After some time, I was taken into another room where Dr. Anwar came in, made me feel SO comfortable, gave me a stress ball to squeeze, and before beginning the procedure, he checked in to see how numb I was & was very patient and tentative & applied more. As the procedure went on, Dr. Anwar was talking to me throughout the injections, to keep me relaxed and cheered me on. After the procedure was over, he got me all cleaned up, applied a lip balm/gloss, gave me an ice pack to take home & explained after-care directions. I asked and boy did he DELIVER! My self confidence has boosted tremendously. Dr. Anwar exceeded any/all expectations I had and I am so happy that I chose him to be my injector. Since then, I've been obsessed with taking selfies and trying new lip products. Thank you to Dr. Anwar & his amazing staff for taking such good care of me! "This was my first time seeing the doctor. He was professional, personable and extremely knowledgeable. I went for under eye filler. He asked what my expectations were and what I was looking for in regard to results. The fat pocket under my eye was slipping as a result of my age. He explained his process as well as a more invasive process including surgery that he could refer out. I asked some follow up questions. He was extremely honest on forthcoming as the what I expect my results to be. He told me that for my particular situation, I would be looking at anywhere from a 30-50% improvement with fillers. He even went as far as suggesting that I research the surgery and possibly sit on it before deciding if I wanted to move forward with the fillers. That was huge for me, he is not in it for the money. He could of told me what I wanted to hear, charged me and sent me on my way. Instead he was patient, I was not rushed and did not make me feel like I had to decide on the fillers. That speaks volumes about a person and their character. He could of told me I needed 19 products, 3 syringes and I would have believed him. We all get caught up wanting magic and he was very straight with the facts and results. He also went on to tell me that there are so many other contributing factors that contribute to the aging process. Sleep, hydration, stress. He was interested in educating me, not just fixing the problem I presented. I decided to move forward with the fillers. He totally undersold the positive impact. I had it done this morning and I keep going my the mirror and I no longer can see that line under my eyes. I am so very pleased with the results. There is a entire wall of products in his office. "I haven't posted a review in a while, however, I had to in this case. A few days ago I visited Dr. Anwar for the first time to get Botox. I have never had Botox or any other sort of injections before. I am 31 and I was starting to notice lines forming on my forehead, in between my brows, crows feet, etc., so it was time to get something done. A good friend of mine referred me to Dr. Anwar and I made an appointment. Scheduling the appointment was a breeze - all done via text. I showed up for my appointment on a Monday at 3:30 and he was right on time. He brought me back to his office (very nice, clean, spacious - not sure where some other reviewers went?), and started talking to me about what I wanted out of the procedure, what look I was going for, etc. He was thorough in his explanation of the procedure, the expected results, and upkeep. I never once felt like I couldn't ask him questions - he even answered questions that my sister wanted me to ask him about her lips (lol). He began the Botox and was smooth, quick, and efficient. On a scale of 1-10 the pain was literally a 1/1.5. The procedure was a breeze. I am now 3 days post-Botox and I am thrilled with the result. I look like a brighter, more well rested version of myself. "Dr. Anwar was hands down the best experience I have ever had when it comes to getting lips fillers. I live in San Francisco and I went to him as a recommendation from a friend and I was very satisfied with the work he did. I didn’t feel ANYTHING! I have been to a few places in S.F. & Sacramento to get my lips done and Modern Aesthetics in Roseville has by far been my favorite. The service and the price was great plus Dr. Anwar gave me a lip plumper that has me literally driving back to Roseville to pick up. This lip gloss is AMAZING! Ladies, I have tried it all. The receptionist was incredibly welcome and friendly. I had previously had some lip filler work done that wasn't done properly was unhappy with. I explained to Dr.Anwar my concerns and he carefully and respectfully listened to all my concerns and the outcome I was hoping to achieve. "I was going to wait until after my follow up appointment to review, because I plan on getting more juvederm at that time. But I was so impressed, that I decided to review now, I got 1 syringe of juvederm in my lips about a week, ago. I've had fillers several times, done by other doctors. Dr. Anwar used a different technique than the doctors I've been to in the past, and I must say, Dr. Anwar's technique is far superior. I had absolutely no bruising. Not a mark. I've literally walked away from previous injections looking like I got kicked in the face and this time was nothing like that. In addition to a complete lack of bruising, I had hardly any swelling. The little bit of swelling I did experience subsided within 24 hours. Now, at about a week post-injection, I have a subtle plump to my lips, Dr. Anwar actually managed to even out some natural asymmetry I had. Something that I really liked about him was the fact that he didn't at all product push. He wasn't all about getting more money out of me. I say that because I went in there saying I might want to get 2 syringes in my lips. He injected one and then respectfully declined the second one, explaining that doing 2 in one visit could potentially cause lumpiness in my case. I've struggled with lumps in the past, so I really wanted to avoid this happening again! He said he'd like for me to come back in 2 weeks for a follow up and we could add more at that time, with better results. So, I really appreciate that he gave his honest opinion of what would be the best course of action, rather than just jumping at the opportunity to use more product, potentially trading better results for more money in a single appointment. I really feel like there aren't a lot of doctors out there these days like that. I fully trust Dr. Anwar now, I'm glad I found him, & I'll definitely be seeing him again next week!"
"Hands down, the only place that I would recommend for anyone that wants to leave looking like a more beautiful version of themselves. I went in initially for fuller lips, however Dr. Anwar spoke with me about a few other options that would help improve my overall look. Dr. Anwar spoke with me about some other options that would really fill in the hollows under my eyes and my smile lines. I ended up doing less filler in my lips (they came out perfect and extremely natural and hydrated!) and using the extra filler under my eyes and smile lines. I could not believe the difference!! To say that I'm pleased with the outcome is an understatement. I cannot rave enough about how knowledgeable and amazing Dr. Anwar is!! His work is so subtle and yet the before and after is like magic. It was such a relaxing process from start to finish.
