HydraFacial MD

What Is a HydraFacial MD Treatment?
Skin becomes dry and uneven due to various factors. Patients who want to rejuvenate their skin often try various solutions, from cosmetic procedures to home remedies, only to be left disappointed. HydraFacial MD is the ideal solution for patients to treat their dry and uneven skin.
A HydraFacial not only cleanses and exfoliates the skin, it also provides the hydration the skin needs to maintain a healthy-looking appearance.
How Does a HydraFacial Work?
HydraFacial MD combines hydrating serums with exfoliation results that are similar to those of a microdermabrasion treatment. It has a mechanized wand or exfoliating tip that suctions away dead skin cells while delivering hydrating serums into the skin. Because of this, the HydraFacial is often called a hydradermabrasion treatment.
Ideal Candidates for HydraFacial MD
Patients of all skin types are candidates for the HydraFacial MD treatment. Teenagers with acne and adults with hyperpigmentation, pimples, and wrinkles are good candidates for a HydraFacial. Older people with flaky skin and skin damaged by overexposure from the sun are ideal candidates for this treatment.
Patients with certain active skin conditions are not advised to get HydraFacial treatment. Pregnant women are also discouraged from this treatment.

What Happens During Your HydraFacial Consultation?
During your consultation, you must disclose your medical history, along with the different treatments you’ve tried for skin hydration and exfoliation. You must also discuss your expectations from the HydraFacial MD treatment. The condition of your skin will be evaluated before creating the best treatment plan for you.
Your HydraFacial Session
The HydraFacial MD treatment will be done within 30 minutes. The treatment will start by cleansing the targeted skin areas. The dead skin cells and excess sebum will be removed during the cleansing, as will the clogged dirt and oil in the pores. The HydraFacial wand will be passed over the targeted skin areas evenly to remove the dirt and oil.
After extracting the debris, a moisturizing serum combined with antioxidants will be applied. Boosters or serums will be applied to finish the HydraFacial treatment.
After Your HydraFacial Treatment
There is no recovery period or downtime necessary after a HydraFacial MD treatment. The patient can even have this procedure during a lunch break and get right back to work after the treatment.
It is recommended not to use other exfoliating treatments during the first few days. The patient must also avoid exposure to the sun if possible.
The patient will be given specific skincare instructions to maximize the results of their HydraFacial treatment. Significant results will be visible right after the HydraFacial treatment.
HydraFacial MD Cost
The cost of a HydraFacial MD treatment can vary according to the targeted skin areas and the solutions used during the treatment. If several sessions are included in the treatment plan, this may affect the overall price of the HydraFacial treatment.
